FitSpider Media ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Fitspider mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App. Please read it carefully. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account and registration: Username, email address, phone number (with country code), password, and account type (User, Professional, or Facility).
- Profile: Profile photo, name, and other details you add to your profile (e.g. bio, preferences, certifications, facility details).
- Verification: Phone number used for OTP (one-time password) verification during registration, login, or password reset.
- Communications: Messages and other content you send through in-app chat.
- Content you create: Posts, photos, videos, and other content you upload (e.g. feed, gallery).
- Appointments: Information related to booking and managing appointments (e.g. date, time, participants).
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and app: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and app version.
- Usage: How you use the App (e.g. features used, screens viewed).
- Push notifications: We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send push notifications. We store a device token to deliver notifications to your device.
2.3 Payment Information
We do not store your full card details. Payments are processed by Stripe. We may receive and store limited payment-related information (e.g. transaction IDs, subscription status, payment history) to provide subscription and payment history features and support.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and verify your identity (including via OTP).
- Provide the App's features (feed, matching, chat, appointments, profile, gallery).
- Process subscriptions and payments and show payment history.
- Send you push notifications (e.g. messages, appointments, account-related alerts).
- Personalize your experience and show relevant content (e.g. matches, feed).
- Display advertisements (if the App shows ads).
- Improve the App, fix issues, and analyze usage.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
- Communicate with you about the App, updates, or support.
4. Sharing of Information
We may share your information:
- With other users: As needed for the App to work (e.g. profile information visible to other users, chat messages with chosen recipients, appointment details with participants).
- With service providers: Such as cloud hosting, analytics, push notifications (e.g. Firebase), payment processing (Stripe), and, if applicable, SMS/OTP and ad networks. These providers use your information only to perform services for us and under our instructions.
- For legal reasons: When required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our or others' rights, safety, or property.
- In a business transfer: In connection with a merger, sale of assets, or other corporate change, subject to the same privacy commitments.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App and our services, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations. You may request account and data deletion (see "Your Rights" below).

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information (e.g. encryption in transit, access controls). No system is completely secure; you provide information at your own risk.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.

1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Fitspider mobile application (the "App") provided by FitSpider Media ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization (e.g. a facility), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3. Account Registration and Security
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering (e.g. username, email, phone) and keep this information updated.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
- We may use phone number and OTP (one-time password) to verify your identity. You agree to receive such verification messages.
- You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Types and Conduct
The App offers different account types (e.g. User, Professional, Facility). Regardless of type, you agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.
- Not post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or that infringes others' intellectual property or rights.
- Not use the App to spam, solicit unlawfully, or collect other users' data without consent.
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other accounts, or third-party services (e.g. payment systems).
- Not use automated means (e.g. bots, scrapers) to access or use the App unless we expressly permit it.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or for other reasons we deem necessary.
5. Content You Post
- You retain ownership of content you post (e.g. profile information, posts, messages). By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the App and our services.
- You are solely responsible for your content. We do not endorse user content and may remove it if it violates these Terms or our policies.
- We may use and display your profile and content to other users as part of the App's features (e.g. matching, feed, chat).
6. Subscriptions and Payments
- Certain features (e.g. viewing full profiles, premium matching) may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms (price, duration, renewal) are shown in the App at the time of purchase.
- Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe). Your payment is subject to the payment provider's terms and our refund policy as stated in the App or at checkout.
- Subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. You are responsible for cancelling through the App or as we specify.
- We may change subscription prices or plans with notice; continued use after changes may constitute acceptance.
7. Refunds and Cancellation
Refund and cancellation rules are as disclosed in the App (e.g. in Payment History, Refund Details, or at checkout). We will process eligible refunds in accordance with those rules and applicable law.
8. Intellectual Property
The App (including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software) is owned by FitSpider Media or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App or our content except as permitted in these Terms or with our prior written consent.
9. Disclaimers
- The App and our services are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose).
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the App.
- We are not responsible for the conduct of other users, the accuracy of user-generated content, or outcomes of interactions (e.g. appointments, matches). You use the App and interact with others at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FitSpider Media and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App or these Terms. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars (USD 100), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FitSpider Media and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
12. Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice.
- You may stop using the App at any time. To request account and data deletion, use the in-app option or contact us as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution) will survive termination.
13. Changes to the App and Terms
We may change the App's features or these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
